Entered into rest on February 13, 2013 in Union City, CA at the age of 67. Beloved wife of 45 years to Jose A. Flores of Union City. Loving mother to Humberto Flores, Damacio Flores, Osbaldo Flores, and Dagoberto Flores and his wife Evelyn, all of Union City. Caring grandmother to Yesenia, Dagoberto, and Diego. Cherished daughter of Petra Melendrez of Union City. Also survived by 5 sisters, 1 brother, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Born September 22, 1945 in Sandusky, OH, Yolanda was a devoted wife and mother. She took great care of her son Osbaldo. She loved time spent with her children and grandchildren. Yolanda enjoyed quilting and was a a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Union City.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 19, from 4-8pm with a Vigil at 7pm at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 703 C St., Union City, CA 94587. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 20, 10am at the church. Burial will follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park in Hayward, CA.
