Entered into rest on May 7, 2014 in Fremont, CA at the age of 22. Survived by her father Edgardo Mancenido, Jr. of Sacramento, CA, and her mother Dolores Mancenido of Fremont, CA.

On December 27, 1991, Virginia “Ninnie” Louise Padilla Mancenido was born at Children’s Hospital in San Francisco. Ninnie was the second child of Edgardo and Dolores Mancenido, and the loving sister of her older brother Edgardo “Teddy” Mancenido. As a child, Ninnie had so many aspirations and dreams of what she wanted to be. She was involved in arts and culture such as playing the piano, violin, taking classical voice lessons, and being a part of ballet and jazz. Throughout her middle school to high school years, she was involved with church activities such as becoming a catechist at the Cathedral of Blessed Sacrament. Alongside, she volunteered at Shriners Hospital at UC Davis because she one day wanted to become a doctor. Ninnie also loves children, so she became a babysitter while studying at SF City College. On most weekends, she would attend youth group in San Jose and in Sacramento. She was very family oriented, sociable, and out-going. But most of all, Ninnie always had a kind heart. She saw beauty in every individual and loved everyone for who they were. She never said no, she was always so strong, always so encouraging, and was very spirited. With all of Ninnie’s hopes and dreams in life, she fulfilled them all with all the memories and love she marked in the amazing life she lived. Ninnie is the definition of beauty and grace.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, from 4-8pm and on Friday, May 16, from 4-9pm with a Vigil on Friday at 6pm, all at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 17, 11am at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 34700 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94555.
