Obituary For Victor Allen Briggs
Victor Briggs at age 57, passed away peacefully on September 16th, 2016 with his wife Aida and sister Tena by his side. Born in Madison, Wisconsin on October 6th, 1958, he was born a "Cheesehead" and remained a loyal Packers fan. He had served in the US Air Force. He was married to his sweetheart, Adelaida, for 23 years. Victor was a "Scratch" golfer and cherished their time on the golf course. To Vic quality-of-life was eating good food with the people he enjoyed life with. He was proud of his profession as a manual machinist for over 35 years. He loved machining so much that on his off time he made Titanium keepsakes. He truly never met a stranger, he always had a complement for you and would make you laugh. At "Peet's", one of his local hang outs, he talked to everyone and made many friends there. Being a part of his family caused you to laugh a lot. Even days prior to his passing he still made us laugh with him. Thanks bro!
He is survived by his wife Adelaida; step-daughter Aisa; mother Verna; father Glen (deceased); twin sisters: Glenda and Tena; brother Brian; grandsons: Kyle and Connor; sisters-in-law: Lucy, Lani, and Jocelyn; nephews: Tim, Anthony, and CJ; and nieces: Janell, Victoria, Nicole, Ashley, Joanna, Michelle, Jaenna, and Tiffany. They all survived the "Sleeping Bag Monster" and the "Toe Cracker". Also survived by his best friends Rodney and Olivia. You are forever loved and in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Victor on Thursday, October 6th, 2pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.
