Obituary For Theodore "Teddy" Anthony Louis

A sinner saved by God?s grace, Theodore ?Teddy? Anthony Louis, 69, of Newark, California, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 20, 2013.

Teddy was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on February 6, 1944. He graduated from Fremont High School in Oakland and went on to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Teddy was married to Linda on November 25, 1967; they were married 45 years.

Teddy worked as a warehouseman for Komatsu America Corp. for 25 years. He enjoyed reading, singing, playing his ukulele, he loved to ?talk story? and he especially loved sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. He enjoyed serving the local community as well as local retirement and convalescent homes with his gift of music.

Teddy is survived by wife Linda, daughter Kristina, son-in-law Doyle, son Adam, daughter?in-law Honey, son Micah, daughter-in-law Marisol, son Stephen, daughter-in-law Holly, grandchildren, Skye, Sierra, Shiloh, Summer, Danielle, Soleil, Joshua, brother Russell, sister Constance and other family.

Teddy is preceded in death by adopted parents John and Elizabeth Louis, hanai parents Ida and Lorenzo Meneses, mother Rose Garcia and sister Pat.

In addition to flowers, memorial donations may be given to a tribute fund in Theodore Anthony Louis? name for the Alzheimer?s Association at alz.org. The family of Teddy Louis wishes especially to thank his hanai family and everyone who shared in a part of his life.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25, from 2-4pm followed by a Chapel Service at 4pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. William R. Downing of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church of Morgan Hill will be officiating. Committal Service will take place on Friday July 26, 10am at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA.
