Obituary For Terry Lee O'Donnell

Terry passed away quietly at her home during her favorite pastime, watching baseball. She always thought of others, always had time to talk, and always listened. She survived cancer, told great stories, and made people laugh.

Besides baseball, she loved to entertain, write letters, play Bingo, go on day trips with her family, decorate for any and all holidays, read mountaineering disaster books, have parties, sneak bits of dessert, and buy gifts for others. Above all, she loved her family, friends, and pets. She will be missed.

Terry is survived by her husband Don, her mother Gloria, her son Danny and his wife Ann, her son Tim and his wife Andrea, her son Matt and his girlfriend Amy, her four grandchildren: Maddy, Becca, Emmy, and Garrett, her brother Thom and his wife Cindy and their family, her sister Pat and her children, her sister Ann and her husband Steve and their children, and her cats: Doc, Homer, Fluery, and Joey.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 8, 11am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.

In 2003 Terry's son Dan and my daughter Ann were married, and Terry and I wrote letters to one another every month for nearly 10 years...we met last year when I visited the USA ...I will remember Terry for her enthusiasm and her love of Afternoon Tea! Sincere condolences to all of Terry's family from Mairead and Michael in Ireland.
