Obituary For Steven Lester Snortum

Steven Lester Snortum passed away on September 9, 2020 in Fremont, California. He was born on September 19, 1952 in Neenah, Wisconsin. Son of the late Lester Jul Snortum and Alice Agnes O’Connell Snortum.

Steve made a career for himself at Signetics/ Philips Semiconductors. When the weekends came, he could be found at Lake Pardee where he proved himself an avid fisherman. He had a special connection with nature and he enjoyed caring for all kinds of animals including his many beloved pets. He was a loyal fan of the Milwaukee Brewers and on any given Sunday he could be heard shouting GO PACK GO! He also enjoyed watching his favorite NASCAR driver, Jimmie Johnson. Steve liked to share his favorite shows with his family. Especially old westerns like Gunsmoke which featured a righteous lawman who Steve’s youngest daughter Cynthia deemed her father as her very own Marshall Matt Dillon.

He is survived by his wife, Irma Snortum, three daughters Andrea (Miguel) Febo, Victoria Snortum, Cynthia Snortum, two grandkids Dresden and Anelise Febo. Two siblings Alan (Brenda) Snortum and Debra (Joseph) Sprenger. Also many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Steve was a wonderful & kind hearted man. He will be deeply missed. In accordance with his wishes no services are being held.
