Obituary For Soledad Posadas

She is survived by her 5 children Mario Posadas 64, Victor Posadas 63, Rosie Lopez 62, Alfredo Posadas 55 and Leticia Lopez 54. Widow of Mariano Posadas.

Our beloved Soledad "Chole" devoted her life to raising her children and grandchildren often telling stories of her childhood growing up in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico. Our family always looked forward to her famous Chile Verde con Queso along with other family favorite recipes; she always made sure everyone was well fed. She enjoyed spending her time making photo albums, reading literature of different cultures and reading biographies of famous actors and musicians that she enjoyed very much. We will never forget her smiles and her laughter while spending time with her family. She always took the time to reach out to everyone to make they were ok, and she was our family’s rock in hard times. She will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.

A Vigil will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022, 6:00 PM with Visitation beginning at 5:00 PM at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2022, 10:30 AM at St. Edward Catholic Church, 5788 Thornton Ave, Newark. A Private Burial to be held at Irvington Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
