Thank you Eileen for those fond memories and caring for my mother so much. I remember her telling me some of the stories and her laughter after was contagious. She was blessed to have such friends to work along side her and love the job as much as she did. Hugs

Our hearts are broken as we morn the loss of our dear sweet friend Sally. For over 20 years we sat together in the bleachers laughing and cheering on our husband playing senior softball. I will always remember you walking down that aisle in your wedding dress, your beautiful family of attendants, and that first 50th wedding anniversary dance with Charlie. Goodbye dear friend, until we meet again. Jan and Jed Duggan

My name is Becky Camara and I started the same time as Sally. Shortly after I started I joined the craziest group of people I had ever met, which for me that meant I was going to have fun. We had been training for awhile and had a pretty good routine we used with the trainees. This one day though a couple trainees canceled so we doubled up, one trainee to two trainers. We were up on 580 in the San Leandro area, Sally in the lead, when all of a sudden, crash, bang, boom, her trainee rear-ended the vehicle in front of her, which is bad enough but that vehicle was towing a boat and they hit the car in front of them. Durham ended up buying 2 cars, one boat and we all lost our A***s. That was bad enough but a few months later we all climbed into a bus and off to lunch we went. Lunch was great but on the way back to the office to get our trainees we were rear-ended. Very minor but the boss again wasn't to happy. Sometimes it doesn't pay to get up in the morning, but it was always fun getting up because I knew Sally will be there with her smile, a hand on my shoulder and say" GOOD MORNING". I love you Sally and I want to thank you for all the wonderful times. Your the best.

I met Sally in 1981, when we both became School Bus Drivers. There was never a time since then that Sally and I did not get into trouble together, and get into situations that we had to talk our way out of. We became Trainers together, we got sick together, we upgraded to a Type 1 Air Brake bus together, and there were times we cried together. Sally was as crazy as I was, and when we trained together, it was some of the best times of my life. We would do student management with our trainees, and we would raise hell. Sally would go out of the hatch in the roof of the bus, while I was opening the hood to take out the oil stick. All we wanted to do was be sure our trainees could handle kids like us ! There are so many memories I have of my buddy Sally, but I know I can't put them all down. For the rest of my life, I will miss my Dearest Sally, but I know that Sally is not far away. Sally loved her Family so much, but the love does not stop with death. It continues on in all our hearts, and souls, and the love Sally has for her Family and friends will grow. Even though time will go by, Sally will always be a part of everything I do and say. So, until we meet again my friend, I will see you on the other side. All my love to the Aragon Family.
