Obituary For Ruth Carmen Powell
Ruth Powell passed away surrounded by her loving family. Ruth was born in David, Panama to Miguel and Matilde Saldana. She was the youngest of their 6 children: Rafael, Roberto, Ricardo, and Rojeleo of Panama, and Raquel Poras of France.
She is survived by her husband Melvin Powell of 47 years; their 3 children: Kim and Phillip Alvarez of Modesto, Mel and Inez Powell of Modesto, and Serena and Jason Kelly of Union City; and their 11 grandchildren: Nick, Jherrica, Sierriah, Tabitha, Talia, Trinity, Jada, Jacob, Janette, Isabelle, and Micah.
Ruth will be laid to rest on Friday, August 9, 11am at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, CA 95326.

Thank you Ruth for sharing your testimonies of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The dreams you shared with me, helped me to see Jesus. He was leaning on his elbow on your dresser,with his eyes gazing with delight upon you. And a smile that lit up the room. Your Faith was a light to me. You will be missed.
