Obituary For Rueben E. Souza

Rueben Ernesto Souza, Sr. of Stockton, passed away on January 24th at the young age of 44. He is survived by his beloved wife of 10 years, Toni Souza. His loving children; Rueben Souza, Jr., Leonard Angulo, Dolores Souza, Frankie Angulo, Monique Souza, Vincente Souza, Carlos Souza, Reanna Souza and Louie Angulo. Treasured grandfather to 12. Caring son to his father, Ernest Souza and his wife Mary of Modesto, and his mother, Beatrice Souza and her husband Anthony of Stockton. Brother to Delia Miranda, Jessica Souza, Jennifer Souza and Lori Aldine and his brother Tio. Also survived by his in laws; Pauline, Nicole and Jumpy Ybera and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends will remember him for his generosity, kind spirirt, loving heart and big smile. He loved spending time with family and to him it was always “family first”. Rueben was die hard Oakland Raider fan and worked for Nummi for 14 years.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30 from 4-8pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, 94536. Chapel service will take place Friday, January 31 at 11am, also at the Mortuary. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.

    We will miss you great spirit. You had a place in our hearts for many years especially to my son Scott. You two were such a team from your little guy days. You were so little when I first met you. Scott always talked highly of you and the many good times you two shared and with family. He will miss you dearly and you will forever be in our hearts.
