Our beloved mother, Rowena Rigor Tobias, aged 56, of Milpitas, California, passed away on April 9, 2026.

Born on March 17, 1970, in the Philippines to Rodrigo and Erma Rigor, Rowena graduated from Camiling Secondary Institute in 1987 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central Luzon Doctor’s Hospital Educational Institution in 1992.

Rowena married Toby Tobias in 1998 and moved to the United States in 1999. She worked at Flextronics for one year before becoming a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at Kaiser Permanente, where she worked for two years. She then dedicated her life to raising her five children while creating a warm and loving home.

Her children remember Rowena as a devoted mother who always put her family first. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, and she was known for her hospitality and her passion for staying connected with loved ones.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Toby Tobias; and her children, Michaela Julienne Tobias, Kayla Aileen Tobias, Kristine Odette Tobias, Jediah Rodrigo Tobias, and Justin Leonard Tobias. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rodrigo and Erma Rigor.
