Obituaries

Born April 1, 1934 in San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines, and entered into rest on October 2, 2013 in San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines at the age of 79. Survived by his wife Felicitas Talao, his daughters Rosie and Cheryl, his son-in-law Jerome, and his grandsons Carlo Jerome, Jr. and Jerome Rojer.

He served in the U.S.Navy for 19 years, and then worked for the civil service for an additional 9 years. After retiring in 1989, he enjoyed traveling back and forth between the US and the Philippines. He spent his days relaxing and visiting with friends and family. Throughout his 79 years, he loved playing and watching sports, ran 10 miles a day, kept up with current events, cared for his garden, had a passion for ballroom dancing, enjoyed listening to big band music, and most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandkids.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 14, from 5-8pm with a Vigil at 6:30pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 15, 10am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.

Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
