Obituaries

Robert W. Brunelli, 82, a lifelong resident of Niles, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2013 at Washington Hospital in Fremont after a brief illness. After high school, Bobby worked as a Journeyman Parts Counterman for 44 years at Central Chevrolet in Fremont. He had a keen interest and ability for electronics, which was his hobby. In retirement he enjoyed cooking, gardening, watching old westerns, and visiting with friends.

He was the loving son of William and Lena Brunelli who preceded him in death. Bobby is survived by his first cousin Richard Brunelli and many second cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 8:30am and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30am, all at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 37891 2nd St., Fremont, CA 94536. Private inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA. The family requests that donations be made to the Gerry Brunelli Endowment Fund at Holy Spirit School in Fremont, CA.
