Obituary For Robert "Poni Boy" Lee Mares,
Robert "Poni Boy" Mares entered into eternal rest on June 3, 2017, he was 53. Robert loved spending time with his family and is survived by his mother Rebecca Watters 3 children: Robert Mares, III, Desiree Mares, and Chere Mares. 11 grandchildren, sister: Maria C. Mares and also survived by many aunts and cousins. Robert is predeceased by his father Robert Mares, Sr. (1967)
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Roberts name to the American Liver Foundation- www.liverfoundation.org

My condolences to the Mares family Poni was a good friend of mine since high school in late 70s I got the privilege to see him and talk visit before the Lord took him to be with Him. Always in my prayers will pony be. You were a decent man with a heart . Rest in Peace and may his loved ones find solace and receive God's Grace. Con Safos.

My deepest condolences to the family. Poni was a good friend of my brother's Tony and Ralphie Herrera. Poni and I had spoken not too long ago. We were supposed to meet up for lunch. Poni had nothing but heart and true to his word to the very end. He now has joined my brother's in paradise. Together again like before, your not alone for you have taken a part of us with you. RIP PONI BOY
