Obituary For Robert John Dunlap
Robert John Dunlap passed away on February 8, 2025 in his home in Fremont, CA. He was born on June 7, 1933 in Honolulu, HI.
He is survived by his children Dale Dunlap, Charlotte Kowalczyk, Deborah Davis, and Denise Mapelli, seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
Robert proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired as a Maintenance Manager from United Airlines. He enjoyed participating in community organizations and was a Commander in the American Legion, Santa Clara Post 419. He was also a long time member of the Fremont Elks Lodge.
Viewing and reception will be held on February 21, 2025 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel located at 3723 Peralta Boulevard, Fremont, CA 94536. Burial will take place on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 1:30pm at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery located at 32053 McCabe Road, Santa Nella, CA 95322. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Hope Hospice of Pleasanton.
