Obituary For Richard Anthony Doane
Born on June 5th, 1959 in Berkeley, CA, and entered into rest on November 23rd, 2015 in Fremont, CA at the age of 56. Survived by his mother Jenny Baray of Fremont; sisters: Shirley Wright (Tod) of Citrus Heights, and Jessica Primrose of Stockton; nephews: Eric Voster, and Anthony Primrose; niece Vanessa Primrose (Eric Lawley); and step-son Danny. Preceded in death by his father Vincente Baray.
"Richie" was a true family man that loved his family, and his friends were a part of our family circle. He had many interest he held close to his heart: hiking, fishing, Sierra Mountains, Oakland Raiders, cars, animals & music. His passion for these things started as a young child. Being a Boy Scout he enjoyed nature with Dad and Uncle Ray traveling to Lone Pine, Mono Lake fishing and climbing Mt. Whitney. His love for cars started when he started going to drag races with his Uncle Jesse. Then in high school his 1st car was a 1970 Charger, his pride & joy that he enjoyed cruising in his car with his high school friends. Richie loved all animals, he would rescue injured or abandoned animals. He especially loved reptiles (Snakes),dogs (Great Danes), cats & birds.
Richie was a hard worker who befriended many people along the way. He had a huge heart and his friends described him as patient, kind, loving and a great storyteller. He will be missed by many who's life he touched, but never forgotten always in our hearts forever.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 5th, 11am at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.

Rich, was a very treasured boyfriend and friend.I adored him, I loved him dearly...I will never forget him! I love you Rich XOXO You will be missed so much by everyone

I'm sorry to here the passing of Richie, I haven't seen Richie in years but I have memory's of him in high school and meeting his family. Taken to soon, Jim Rocha My prayers to his family.
