Remedios Ordona Bautista also known as Nene or Remy to family and friends, died peacefully in Washington Hospital on January 27, 2020 in Fremont, CA at the age of 80.

Remedios is survived by her husband, Romeo Bautista and children Jennifer and Fernando Ornelas, Christina and Paul Medalla and Reginald Bautista; her grandchildren Jason, Jonathan, Jasmine and Naz; her siblings, Gloria O. Garcia, Sid Ordona, Mario Ordona, Beth O. Dela Cruz and Fe O. Dizon. Nene was born on November 22nd 1939 in Calapan Mindoro Oriental, Philippines to Filemon Villanueva Ordona and Brigida Cruz Ordona. She graduated from University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. She met Romeo, when they worked together in Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources and married on January 11, 1969. After migrating to the United States in 1995, Remy dedicated her time to taking care of their grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 6, 2020 with a Vigil at 6:30 PM, Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 9:30 AM, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd., Fremont.
