Obituary For Rachelle Josephine Godinez-Freitas
Born March 8, 1952 in Alameda, CA, and entered into rest on September 11, 2014 in San Lorenzo, CA at the age of 62. Survived by her husband Walter Freitas; children: Angelo Godinez (Tina), Joey Valenzuela (Vicky), Jimmy Valenzuela (April), Terrence Valenzuela, and Alicia Marshall (Jason); step-children: Walter Freitas, Jr., and Amanda Freitas; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; siblings: Peter Godinez (Gloria), Johnny Godinez, Rudy Godinez, Robert Godinez, Rosemary Parnala (Donald), and Amelia Stanley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Ruben Godinez and her father Benjamin Godinez.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 11am at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.

Rachelle, Your Son and Grand-children miss you dearly, as do I, you were such a wonderful Mother and an inspiration to me. I admired how strong and together you were, always taking care of someone else while making sure your house was perfect and you had the best home-cooked meal ready for your family, you went through it all with dignity, perseverance while still being beautiful you. You are loved and will forever be in our hearts.... God bless you Rachelle, we miss you.
