Obituary For Philip David Amboy
Philip D. Amboy beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and friend joined our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 13, 1927, in Maui, Phil just celebrated his 86th birthday with his family. Love of family, tradition and travel exemplified the life of Phil.
He is survived by his sister: Primitiva Dasilao; brothers: Valentin Amboy, Guillermo Amboy and Domingo Amboy; son: Remon Amboy (Kathleen); daughters: Angie Amboy, Criselda Shockley (John), Beverly Dalman (Julius), Sarah Amboy, Imelda Amboy and Dara Joy Francisco (Scott); and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Norma.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, from 4-8pm with a Vigil at 7pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 28, 12pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 40382 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538. Inurnment at Dohinob Cemetery, Dohinob, Zamboanga Del Norte, PI.
