Pete Villegas Iglesias passed away on May 16 in San Francisco, at the age of 76. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lydia Iglesias. His beloved children Nestor Iglesias and his wife Stella and Ninfa Lao and her husband Raul. His grandchildren; Michael, Andrew, Lisa, Melanie, Myles and Marcus and his great grandchild Presley. Also his siblings; Ray Iglesias, Oscar Iglesias, Agrifina Aragon and Susana Maniling and many nieces and nephews.

Pete was born on April 29, 1937 in Bayambang Pangasinan, P.I.. He loved his music, playing guitar, computer games and dancing. He was considered a workaholic because he loved his job but most of all he loved his family and was a good provider.

Visitation will be held at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Perlata Blvd., Fremont, 94536, on Wednesday, May 22 from 3-8pm and also Thursday, May 23 from 38-pm with a Vigil at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 24 at 10:30am at St. Edward Catholic Church, 5788 Thornton Ave., Newark, 94560. Burial to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park in Hayward.
