Perfecto Oficial Fernandez, Eding for close relatives and friends, joined Our Maker and his loving wife, Felicidad (Felicing) Macaraeg, on Oct. 9, 2025 at the age of 101. Perfecto was born on Sep 21, 1924 to parents, Antonio Perez Fernandez and Teodora Ranola Oficial in Malasiqui, Pangasinan, Philippines. Perfecto is survived by his 6 children - 3 sons and their spouses (Junn/Dolly, Roffie/Annie, Perry/Susan) and 3 daughters and their spouses (Fely/Raymond, Bessie/Danny, Lenette), 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Perfecto and Felicidad were married on January 20, 1946. Both were from humble beginnings and strived hard to put food on the table and send their 6 children and 5 younger siblings to school to obtain their college education. Perfecto graduated from University of Manila with degree of Bachelor of Laws (LLB). He was chief legal officer at the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO) responsible for veterans claims for pensions until he retired in 1986.

Perfecto was very strict and a disciplinarian which he learned from being an officer in the Philippine Army. He instilled in his children the value of honesty, integrity, love of family, love of God.

Perfecto was a member of the Knights of Columbus in the 4th Degree before he had mobility issues in 2015. Both Perfecto and Felicidad were active parishioners of St Anne Church.
