Obituary For Patricia "Pat" C. Santos
Entered into rest on September 20, 2013 in Fremont, CA at the age of 70. Devoted wife of 39 years to Jim G. Santos of Fremont. Beloved mother of Denise Gonzales of Fremont, Robert Gonzales and his wife Cheri of Ceres, Daniel Gonzales of Modesto, Felecia Santos of Washington, and Raymond Santos and his wife Christa of Fremont. Loving grandmother to Manuel, BJ, Desi, Danielle, Cassandra, David, Marcus, Viviana, Lukas, and Grace. Caring great-grandmother to Robert, Isabella, Marcus, and Michael. Cherished sister of Louis Pappas of Concord, and Becky Niles of Paradise. Predeceased by her siblings George Pappas, Mary Amaya, Alec Pappas, and Jimmy Pappas.
Born February 11, 1943 in San Francisco, CA, Pat was very involved in the development of the Sandy Amos R.N. Infusion Center at Washington Hospital. She was a member of the Fremont First Assembly of God Church for many years and most recently a member of Faith Fellowship Foursquare Church in San Leandro. She loved being called "Yia-Yia" by her grandchildren. Described as vivacious, she chose to live life to the fullest. She loved the Lord and was loved by many friends and family.
Funeral Service will be held for Pat on Saturday, September 28, 10am at Harbor Light Church, 4760 Thornton Ave., Fremont, CA 94536. Burial to follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park in Hayward, CA.

Auntie Pat and Uncle Jim you both inspired me and always would bring light into my life. I will miss you dearly but I know you are with Our Lord and Savior. My love and prayers go out to all that are missing her, but remember her absents is only temporary.

My dear grandmother, You will be missed greatly but will live in my heart for eternity. You are now an angel, an angel that can guide me through life. I thank you for being such an inspiration in my life, for help raising me to become the man I am today. I am a proud man, a man proud to call you my grandmother, proud to have had such a great upbringing that has made me a man of faith, morals and honor. I will continue to make you proud. Dear Nina Pat, Patricia, Lillian, Armando and I are lucky to have had you in our lives for so long. Growing up with you is full of fond memories and laughs. Jim and your children should rejoice at how you touched our lives for so long. If you look up loyal friend in the dictionary your name and picture are there. It will be strange not seeing you with my mom. You will forever remain in our hearts. I guess god need someone by his side with an infectious laugh to brighten his day as you did everyone's here on earth. Jim and Family I'm deeply saddened over the loss of my dearest best friend like a sister to me. She won't be here for me to talk and laugh with but we did make a lot of memories together and that I will always have. I will truly remember what a wonderful person she was and how she was always there for me. I will miss her deeply and she will always be in my heart. Pat May you rest in peace and one day we will meet again.

My Dearest Friend and Sister in Christ, We met in the 7th grade and never been apart since. We also baptized each other's children how blessed is that. How will I survive without you? To my auntie, my godmother and my mentor, you have taught me so much and the most important of the teachings is how to love and forgive. You have shown me through example how wonderful life is and to put my trust in the Lord. I thank the Lord so much for all the times we have had together from my youngest years in life to my adult years where still you encouraged and mentored me.
