Obituary For Pamela R. Weil
The relatives, friends, and colleagues, of Pamela Weil, 65, morn her sudden passing on Thursday, April 2, while on a birthday celebration in Pacific Grove, from a massive brain hemorrhage.
Pamela was born in New York in 1949 and would have turned 66 on April 4th. She was a 37 year resident of Fremont, and worked as a stellar sales clerk after graduating from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Family Life. She was a member of the PEO Sisterhood and worked on many projects to support them. As an avid FlyFisherman she was a member of the Golden West Women Flyfishers. Pam was also a member of the American Philatelic Society and specialized in the collecting of UN Stamps as well as being an avid reader and history buff.
She is survived by her dear husband of 43 years, James, brother, Ray, and sister-in-law, Mela.
A chapel service and reception will be held at the Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA, at 11am on Saturday, April 18. Interment will follow at Irvington Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
Contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments, Fremont, a woman’s shelter, or to Cottey College, a womans college.
