Noel is a very good friend of ours. He's the current auditor of our Arayat Association of Northern California. Together with his lovely wife, Thelma, they participated in all the fundraising events of the association, casino trips, dinner/dance, annual picnics, etc. Last May 31st when I celebrated my 73rd birthday with a jammin' session with our very own Pilipino Elvis impersonators in the Bay Area, he was in attendance having fun with us. He enjoyed very much the singing of former actress Rebecca (younger sister of the late Tessie Quintana). He was very much impressed with her singing and keeps telling her that she could have a show at Thunder Valley Casino. My wife and I were very happy to see him when he came along with Mr. & Mrs. Lito Mesina that evening even without his wifeThelma who worked that day I guessed, without knowing that that will be the last time he will be with us enjoying the lively evening with some of the officers of the association. By the way, Noel loves the kumquat in my backyard. Don't worry, I will bring your share of the kumquat to Thelma comes harvest time.
Rest in peace, we will sorely miss you!
