Obituaries

Ngoc Van passed away peacefully on October 9th, 2022 at the age of 79 in Hayward, CA. She is survived by her 7 children, 12 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson. She was predeceased her husband Hon Ly.

Ngoc had always been a philanthropist in all her capacity. We want to continue her legacy by helping the less fortunate.

Services will be held at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Viewing will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2pm – 8pm and also Wednesday, October 19, 12pm – 8pm. A Buddhist Service is scheduled for Thursday, October 20, 9am at the mortuary followed by a Witness Cremation at 10:30am at Irvington Memorial Crematory, 41001 Chapel Way, Fremont, CA 94538.

In lieu of flowers or monetary gifts please consider donating to Neverthirst Foundation or helping the poor in Vietnam. We will have a box at the memorial for donations to send to Neverthirst or Vietnam.
