Obituary For Nadine Beverly Simonetti

Nadine Beverly Simonetti was born on August 26, 1930. A lifelong resident of Alameda County, she proudly worked for the Fremont Unified School District as a baker within the food services department. During her retirement years, she was an active volunteer at Washington Hospital and a committed volunteer through the Fremont Police Department in enforcing handicap parking laws.

“Grandma Dean”, as she was affectionally called by her grandchildren, enjoyed gardening, going to the movies, and loved discussing celebrity gossip. Nadine is preceded in death by her sons Michael and Mark Simonetti. She is survived by her sister Patricia Chambers, her loving daughter, Antoinette Phillips, her 4 granddaughters, 8 great-grandchildren, and her furry companion Peaches. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on September 9th at Fremont Memorial Chapel 3723 Peralta Blvd Fremont 94536.

My dear Nadine. You were such a huge part of my growing-up years into my adulthood. I will always remember your laugh, your kindness, your gardening, your cooking, your avocado tree and most of all your love. I love you so much. Sending a heavenly hug to you. I will miss you more than you will ever know. Love, Julie Tilley

Grandma, you always took care of us. Always made us feel loved and special. I will forever remember listening for the tomato worms with you at night. Xoxoxo Peaches will meet you at the rainbow bridge some day, until then I will make sure she is loved and cherished.

Baking in our aprons with you teaching us how to make mini pies! Making gnocchi with you was fun, you let me squish them with the fork! Now we can pass it on to our kids and Grandkids! You will definitely forever be missed Grandma! Rest easy & I know you're overjoyed to be reunited with your boys! 🙏🙏🕊️🕊️
