Obituary For Michael Joseph Wright
Michael Wright was born on April 21, 1978 in Hayward, CA and entered into rest on June 1, 2015 in Fremont, CA at the age of 37. He is survived by his wife, Anne Wright; daughter, Bobbi Ann Loggins; parents, Dwain and Rori Wright; sister Denise Ramirez (Rick); nephews, Nikolas, Ryan and Logan; in laws, Russell, Marlene and Matthew Martin. He also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Michael was a graduate of James Logan High School in Union City. He was CA State Freestyle champion, 3rd place CA State Collegiate champion and Asics wrestling all American. Avid Oakland Raiders fan, enjoyed the outdoors and water sports and loved his Frenchie, Gisele.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 8, from 10-11am with a Chapel service at 11am at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. A private family burial at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park in Hayward will follow.

Even before Mike & Becky blessed us all with Bobbi Ann, I knew Mike as an outstanding student & wrestler at Logan High. I've always remembered his big smile greeting me. Praying for God's peace for Anne, Bobbi, & our families.

Man Mike, What can I say brother? You were part of the crew. Always driving that White VW bug you cared so much about. You were so anal with that thing. If anyone got to touch it, it was a lucky day. It always smelled like fresh coconut and the beach in there. I know its been years, but really great friends don't skip a beat. You had a good heart. Always cared about others. I remember we went to the races one night- We were bored and went at 2:00 AM to see this thing... Hundreds of cars showed up and lined up for racing. We were in Tanner's old '78 Toyota Corolla. Of all the "real" race cars, we were the ones the cops pulled over that night. I remember we said we would give the officer Jorge Cabral if he let us go! So many memories that I will never forget. Shit I guess we've known each other for 25 or so years... Summer ski trips with each others families. I can hear your mom Rori and dad Dwayne yelling MICHAEL! You were always being a dare devil for something and scared the shit out of your mom from behind the boat. I remember your dad whipping us while tubing at Lake Don't Pedro. The houseboat trips with the whole neighborhood... Such fun times. Somehow Milt Blete started that one tie nail painted trend for men. It was like the boys club on the houseboat... Anyway, as we got older, the summer trips became less and catching you at Spankys in Castro Valley or another local bar was more common. Typically you were in Raiders gear talking shit about the opposing team... it all seems like a blur now... Not because I was drinking, but because I just can't imagine not bumping into you again... I'm so sad you are gone and my heart aches for your family... You will be missed my friend.

I am so sorry for your loss, Michael was a wonderful kid who loved to play with my son and was often in my home as a child. My children and I are heartbroken that you are gone but you went to a better place. Please know that you were a good friend and loved by many. I know we will always remember you in our prayers.
