Michael Anthony Guillermo Marquez a security officer for Overton and lifelong resident of Union City, CA heartbeat quietly slipped away on April 22, 2019.

Michael is survived by his loving family, his mother, Jovita Marquez, brother Emil Marquez, sister Carmencita Balingit, brother in-law Emanuel Balingit, his niece Mia Isabella Balingit, his nephew Renato Balingit and his many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded by his father, Mauro S. Marquez and his grandparents, Francisco and Rafella Marquez and Emilo and Carmen Guillermo.

Michael was born on March 23, 1972 at Oaknoll Naval Hospital. He aspired to work in the medical field and was recently accepted to the Kaiser X-ray Technician Program. He previously worked as a certified trainer at Bally's Fitness.

Michael enjoyed reading comics and spending time with Brownie, the family pet. He was fascinated with technology and health always willing to share his passion and knowledge. He took care of his Mother with patience and love.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30th from 4 to 8 PM at Fremont Memorial Chapel 3723 Peralta Blvd Fremont. With a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM. Memorial Mass on Wednesday, May 1st 12:00 PM at St. Anne Catholic Church 32223 Cabello St. Union City and will be laid to rest immediately following the mass at Chapel of the Chimes 32992 Mission Blvd, Hayward.
