To my beautiful Aunt I love you and always will! You taught me so much about love and patience, about seeing the world and the people around in the beauty and blessing you saw them in. I will never forget you and I will share stories about you with my daughter.

I've been blessed to have known Maria and Anna for over 9 years now. I don't have sisters and always think of them as my sisters. Maria had a true heart of gold. She always saw the good in everyone and everything. She didn't know how to hate or pre-judge. The last time I saw her was the night before my surgery. She and Anna came over. She knew she had cancer. Anna had told her the month before that I have it. One of the first things she asked me is how I'm doing. She always was concerned about how others were doing. My last conversation with her a couple of weeks ago she asked me a couple times how I'm doing with my battle. Such a loss of a beautiful life to this terrible disease that is cancer. May she be at peace united with God and continue to shine on. We'll see all our loved ones one day when we pass. I believe it. Gods speed Maria. You are so loved and will be missed. XO Shonta
