Obituary For Laura Alison Hull

On August 24th, 2025 Laura Alison “Ali” Hull, of Fremont, CA passed away peacefully in her home where she lived with her husband Andrew “Andy” Mark Hull and their dog Jasper.

Alison was a respected Realtor in the Bay Area with Reality Experts. She also served as an Ombudsman with Bay East Association of Realtors and volunteered countless hours working on mediation and arbitration to uphold the Professional Standards of the National Association of Realtor’s Code of Ethics. Alison received her BS in Applied Psychology and Computing from Bournemouth University of the United Kingdom where she and her husband had lived for the first 10 years of their marriage.

Alison grew up in rural Virginia where both of her grandparents owned and operated farms. There she developed her adoration of animals, and growing up she could be found feeding calves, naming the farm animals or playing with wild barnyard kittens. Ali and Andy adopted several rescued dogs over the years. She was an excellent cook, as one of her favorite things was enjoying good company and conversation over a well-prepared meal.

Ali loved reading, she enjoyed fantasy and sci-fi, as well as many other genres. She adored boardgames and had competed for the last two years in the qualifying rounds of the World Series of Boardgames. She had a love for the outdoors, enjoyed camping and volunteering at Renaissance Faires with her friends. Building Lego was an endearing joy for her that she liked to share with Andy.

Her loving smile and infectious laugh will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Alison is survived by her husband Andy Hull, her parents Mark & Julie Bray of Hartfield, VA, and Sheila & Ray Hull of Bournemouth, UK, her brother Blake & Grace Bray of Virginia Beach, VA, her sisters Molly & Abraham Evans-EL of Alexandria, VA, Sara & Dean Carey of Bournemouth, UK and Emma Kent of Bournemouth, UK, her nieces and nephews, Jamie, Lola Mae, Evie, Jack, Samuel and Zoe.

In lieu of flowers, Ali would have appreciated a donation to her favorite charity, which can be found at https://www.adoptanangels.org/

Alison was a good friend. Always trying to get everyone together. We were all making plans for a tattoo and Vegas. She was kind and loving and one of the sweetest people I knew. Time and space keeps all apart but her heart and words helped to keep us together. I look forward to seeing her beautiful spirit again some day with orchids all over. Love and Hugs. Margaret

Alison is one of "those" people! She inspired kindness and gratitude in all she did. Her laughter was like confetti...always plentiful! Her passion and knowledge for her real estate profession was top notch. She will be dearly missed but not forgotten. Warmly, June Burckhardt
