Juan Ayala was such a great grandfather to my son. Always treated Angel like his grandchild even tho blood those not connect them. Mr.Ayala was a great loving man, a great father to Lena from what i got to see. He was more than a grandfather to his 3 grandkids. He was their guardian Angel always looking out for them, for what was best for him and his family. God has called a beautiful Angel to keep watching over his daughter and grandkids and so they can be safe. May god always bless the Ayala family and my condolences go out to you. Its never easy to loose a loved one. With much love, Ileana Gonzalez & Family

John was a friend of mine since 79 I met him through his brother Tito and quickly we became close friends. He was like an older brother to me even though we were 10 months apart. We'd cruise in his classic Red 68 Impala and go look for girls John had the charm and good looks so it was easy for him. Lol because of him I met a sweet girl named Melissa that became my girl and first love. We would kick back in the small trailer he had in the driveway of his family's Newark house and talk for hours about our future. He eventually joined the Army and i moved to San Jose and then finally made my big move to the Hawaiian Islands my mothers hometown. I saw John 3 days before I left California and he had shown interest in visiting me but it never materialized I had thought about him through the years wondering how things were doing with him.Tito would keep me posted at times when I visited the Bay Area. From my heart I am saddened of his death especially for his the entire family. I lost my young brother in '89 tragically and the pain is still there. I pray for your family as a friend and someone who knew John in my youth. I have learned through my faith as a Jehovah's Witness that God through the ransom sacrifice of his son Jesus has provided the Ressurection hope for all mankind that one day Jehovah God will bring our lived ones back to life. Will miss John for sure and won't forget him. Aloha and comfort to your family. Mr Manuel Anthony Archuleta

You were def one of a kind. You were always being the best person you can be. You always wanted to do for others...even when you didn't have to much to give.. The world would be a better place if more people had a heart like you have...I've known you for many, many years...since the 6th grade and you've always been a gentle and kind soul. You will always have a special place in my heart, and you will be missed by all of us including my mother Bea Rivera, my brother David Paul Rivera, and my daughter Estella Lopez. You never complained even in your darkest moments...the strength and courage you had were unbelievable...We will miss you John!!!
