Josephine Mary Aerts 2/9/1932 - 6/12/2013
Josephine (Jo) Perez passed away at home at the age of 81. She was the beloved wife of Ernie Perez for almost 58 years. She will be greatly missed by her six children and their spouses, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren as well as many relatives and friends.
Josephine was born in Wattenberg, Colorado. She graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1953. She retired from NUSD as a Special Education Aide.
She enjoyed the beach, baking, sewing, working on puzzles, volunteering at Lincoln Elementary, Bible study, travel, butterflies and spending time with her family.
She was an inspiration to so many people and will be loved and remembered by all.

Ernie & Family: Dominic & I are very sorry for your loss. I am so glad Jo & I got to have a long talk at Bryleighs Birthday at the wildlife. It was a rewarding day for the both of us, Sorry we did not make it to the Memorial service but everyone was on our minds and our prayers went out to all. May she rest in peace now with no pains or suffering She is in Gods care. Love to all. Dominic & Dolores Nunes

We are so sorry for your loss. Josephine was a wonderful person and we are so happy that she and Ernie were able to come to our home in May to visit us and their other long time neighbors She will be missed.

A special memory of her is dancing with the love of her life at Kindsey's wedding. Steve and I had just finished dancing lessons, and they still put us to shame dancing the "swing". Love and prayers for all the family. Look to the Lord for comfort, he is there for you!

Our prayers go out to the family. She will always be a beautiful smile in my memories. Vic and I loved seeing her and Mr. Perez at Ihop. An amazing, loving couple.
