Obituary For Joseph Anthony Silva
Joseph was born April 7, 1932 in California, and entered into rest on July 6, 2018, at the age of 86. Joseph survived by his children Michael Silva of Corning, Julie Kiger of Modesto, grandchildren Laura, Jessica and Krystal and great-grandchildren Kasey and Benjamin. Preceded in death by his wife Berverly Silva in 2011.
Joseph enjoyed restoring cars, knife making, gunsmithing and master wood carver.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 11, 2018, Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont.

My parent's knew Bev and Joe and bought a lot of Joe's carvings. So sorry both Bev and Joe passed as my parents adored them both. Since my mom Bebe Simpson just passed, I'm keeping all of the carvings he made for her. She had Santas, Civil War soldiers and a Noah's Ark. Joe carved animal pairs for the Ark and then my parents would pick a pair up and order another pair. My husband and I were able to pick up items for my mom and dad at their house once and also bought Civil War soldiers. They were so nice! Sorry for your loss.
