Luis was born in Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico April 1, 1955 and entered into rest on April 11, 2018, at the age of 63.
Survived by his wife of 38 years Teresa Perez Hernandez, daughter Vanessa Hernandez, and granddaughter Nevaeh, sisters: Herlinda Hurtado and Berta Gutierrez, brothers: Manuel and Sergio Hernandez. Also, survived by many nieces and nephews.

I love you Dad and miss you so much. I wish you were still with us, we need you more than anything. Nevaeh needs you, I need you and my mom is lost without you. Please be with us always and visit me in my dreams as often as possible. I don't know how I will ever be able to move on. You were the backbone to our family. I'm going to miss your laugh, your jokes and the way you lived life.. by not having a care in the world what anyone else thought.. you did what you wanted, when you wanted and if they didn't like it... oh well! You will always be el mas chingon de todos! I love you apa! I cant wait to see you again one day. love you forever Vany
