Obituary For Janice Elise Spain

Janice Elise Spain was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She passed away after her long battle with cancer on December 24, 2021 at the age of 65. Even though she is no longer with us physically, her loving spirit left a beacon of hope for all of those who knew her. In 1979, Janice attended Ohlone College and met her husband, Alvin Spain. After graduating, she worked at the Alameda Naval Base for 11 years as a Visual Information Specialist Illustrator. Janice was a creative individual and a passionate artist. She was a skilled painter and loved spending time drawing, painting, and knitting. If she wasn't doing one of her hobbies, you could find her working on, as she would say, ‘her grand-babies' scrapbooks. Her cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed dearly. Janice is survived by her husband Alvin, her children Floyd, Kyle, and Elise, and her grandchildren Tycen, Mia, and Kiara.
