Obituary For James "Jim" Trejo Lozano
Jim Lozano passed away on December 21, 2014 after battling cancer for almost 2 years. Born in Union City (Decoto), CA on May 15, 1938. Dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandpa. He is survived by wife of 58 years Gladys; 4 daughters: Lorraine and Oscar Vera, Cindy and Ken Galarsa, Jamie and John Difuntorum, and Michele and Alan Limtiaco; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 6 siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
He worked for 38 years for the auto industry, G.M., and NUMMI. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. He was a Raiders and Giants fan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, from 5-8pm with a Vigil at 7pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 6, 10am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
