Horacio Muñoz was born on June 6th, 1957 in Jalisco, Mexico and entered into rest on December 26th, 2016 in Newark, CA at the age of 59. He is survived by his mother, wife, 2 kids 2 grandkids, and 6 siblings. He retired from the Laborers Union Local 304.

Horacio enjoyed going to Mexico at least twice a year. He enjoyed nature, watching soccer & gambling. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his Mother. His dog "Choco" was his best bud. Horacio loved music, he sang beautifully and wrote his own songs. He recently celebrated 20 years of sobriety. He was loved by his children and family, his contagious laugh and loving spirit will always remain with the ones he loves.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4th, from 4-8pm with a Vigil at 6pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on on Thursday, January 5th, 12pm at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 5788 Thornton Ave., Newark, CA 94560. He will be laid to rest at La Mesa Maria de Leon Cemetery in Huejucar, Jalisco, Mexico.
