Obituary For Flora M. Diaz
Flora Moreno Diaz, age 97, entered peacefully into the presence of the Lord on April 28, 2026, in the comfort of her granddaughter’s home in Highland Village, Texas, surrounded by the love of her family.
Flora was born on November 7, 1928, in Clyde, Texas. She lived a life grounded in faith, love, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her strong belief in God guided her throughout her life and was reflected in the kindness, grace, and strength she shared with everyone around her.
On July 20, 1944, she married the love of her life, Silverio V. Diaz. Together they built a beautiful life with a loving family in Fremont, California. Many memories over the years structured in faith, love and commitment until his passing on September 13, 2005.
Flora was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Silverio V. Diaz, and her daughters, Rose Whitt, Margarita Perez, and Maria Alicia Diaz.
She is lovingly survived by her son, Robert M. Diaz of Fremont, California; her daughter, Helen Diaz of Tracy, California; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest blessing, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Flora will be remembered for her gentle spirit, steadfast faith, her wittiness, warm heart, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. She found joy in caring for others, praying for her loved ones, and trusting in God through every season of life. Her life was a beautiful example of faithfulness, perseverance, and grace.
Though her family mourns her absence, they find comfort in knowing she is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband and daughters, resting peacefully in God’s eternal embrace. Her legacy of love and faith will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

40 years ago we were very fortunate to become next door neighbors to Sil and Flora and the start of a long-standing friendship. Very sad to have lost Sil many years ago and now sadly having to say goodbye to Flora. Our sincere condolences to the family, Rob & Nancy Linderman
