Obituary For Fernando Manuel Matos
Entered into rest on September 22, 2013 in Hayward, CA at the age of 49. He is survived by his girlfriend: Maria Texeira; his sisters: Fatima Fonte & her husband Manuel, and Lucia Fonte; his step-sister: Madalena Pimentel & her husband Emanuel; his nieces: Marlene Fonte, Elizabeth Fonte, Leslie Fonte, and Stephanie Fonte; and his great-nieces: Katarina, Mikayla, and Isabella.
Born April 29, 1964 in Portugal, Fernando was a janitor at Newark Pavillion. He enjoyed attending the Portuguese dances and parades.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, from 4-8pm with a Vigil at 6pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 26, 10:30am at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 5788 Thornton Ave., Newark, CA 94560. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.

Fernando you will be deeply missed my friend..so many wonderful memories and cherished moments we all spent with you I wont ever forget. .you were an awesome person..great friend always there to lend a hand to anyone..may you rest in peace. .until we meet again..
