Obituaries

Born on March 27th, 1934 in Lubang, Mindoro, Philippines, and entered into rest on November 6th, 2016 in Fremont, California at the age of 82. Survived by his wife Elena, daughters Michelle and Kathy, son in-law James, grandchildren Andrew and Noah, brother Jesus, and many nieces and nephews.

Felito graduated from Stella Maris High School and then joined the United States Navy "to see the world." He served in the Navy for 20 years. After retiring from the Navy, he joined Lockheed Martin where he worked as an electrician for 20 years.

Felito was married to Elena Valbuena in 1975 and were married for 40 years. He enjoyed tending to his garden and fruit trees. He also loved spending time playing slots at the casinos. While his children were young, he looked forward to taking his family on camping and long distance road trips. He was also actively involved in Lubang Looc International (LLI) and California Association of Lubang and Looc (CALL).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 13th, from 1-5pm with a Vigil at 3pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 14th, 10am at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 34700 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94555. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
