Obituaries

Born December 10, 1939 and passed away peacefully September 26, 2021 after a short battle with Cancer. She was survived by her 2 Daughters: Debbie Feick (Todd) and Rhonda Johanson (Ian) and her 2 Grandchildren: Janelle Feick and Zachary Johanson, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ron LaKomy, her parents Fred and Minnie Sanchez, grandson Kyle Johanson, brother Fred Sanchez and many cousins.

Evelyn worked for years at Our Lady of the Rosary School and was loved tremendously by teachers, parents and students. She loved doing yard work and you could often drive past her house finding her working to keep her yard beautiful.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Friday, October 15 at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation in Evelyn's name to: American Cancer Society, cancer.org or call 1-800-277-2345.

As years go by we will miss your sweet smile and loving ways. We know that even though death comes, love never goes away. You are forever young, forever missed and forever in our hearts.
