Estrella a life shaped by her guerilla yearsâ¦a fighter through and through, until death.
She was born March 22, 1927 in Casiguran, Sorsogon, Philippines and entered into eternal rest March 21, 2019 in San Jose. Devoted mother to Ben (Lolit), Dodie (Bing/Christine), Ruby ( Freddie), Sonia (Ado), Aida (Greg) Pinky (Perry), Karen (Michael). Loving grandmother to Richard (Jennifer), Patrick, Edward Jr. (Tisha), Tootsie (Jason), Ziggy, Robby, Jessica (Calger), Missy (Dennis), Matthew, Richelle (Joie), Mikko (Sheryl), Macky (Butchie), Marigold (Louie), Leo, Cedric, Paolo, Nico and Kayla. Adoring great-grandmother to Jacob, Madison, Trey, Erin, Ynigo, Elian, Alexis, Lia, Aki, Ghillian, Dylann, Arhrian, Zian, Gavin, Alfred, Ian and Sophia. Tender sister to Belen (Gil), Arnold (Imelda) and Lida. Predeceased by her husband Macario.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00PM â 8:00PM on Monday, April 1, 2019 with a Vigil at 6:30PM, Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont. A Mass will be held at 9:30 AM, Tuesday, April 2, 2019, Holy Spirit Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd, Fremont. Burial to follow at Rolling Hills Memorial Park, 4100 Hilltop Drive, Richmond, CA.

I remember when Karen and I went and spent a summer with Tita Neling . That was the only time that my dad ever let me sleep over someone elses house and it was more than one day it was at lease two weeks I had so much fun, I got to experience being a teenager. And Tita was more lenient then my parents. Thank you Tita for the good memories. You will be miss. Love Girlie Oberes
