Erma passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 86. She is survived by her one son, two daughters and their spouses. Jerry and Bernadette Stidman of Hayward, Joyce and Ron Lopez of Manteca, Doris and Steve Miller of Newark. Erma has seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Erma has two sisters and one brother living. Robert Patton of Tennessee, Faye Salyer of Oklahoma and Roberta McKinnon of Florida. She was preceded in death by her brother Ray Patton of Washington, and husbands Leonard Stidman and James Street.

Erma was born in Stigler, Oklahoma in 1927. In 1944 Erma moved to Centerville, CA, which was re-named Fremont in 1956. She made her home in Fremont until 15 months ago, when she moved into assisted living at the Commons of Union Ranch in Manteca, CA. Erma enjoyed special occasions with her family, she liked to do crossword puzzles and reading magazines. In her later years she enjoyed happy hour at the Commons with her friends.

Viewing will begin on Thursday, February 6, at 12pm with a Chapel Service starting at 1pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.
