Obituary For Emma Nibia Russomanno
Entered into rest on September 4, 2013 in Fremont, CA at the age of 79. Loving mother to Silvana E.M. Schafer and her husband Tony of Citrus Heights, Frank Russomanno Jr. and his wife Suzanne of Fremont, and Antonio A. Russomanno and his wife Laura of Brentwood. Grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 4. Caring sister to Beatriz Giacomini of Argentina. Predeceased by her husband of 41 years Francesco.
Born September 10, 1933 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Emma worked for United Airlines as a seamstress making seat covers totaling 51,483 seat covers made. She was also a professional tango dancer who participated in and won many competitions. In addition, Emma was a great cook, enjoyed crocheting, and loved traveling. She was a very creative and giving person who loved her children dearly and will be deeply missed by them.
A Memorial Service will be held for Emma on Saturday, September 14, 1pm at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.
