Obituary For Domenico Del Cuore

Domenico is survived by his beloved wife, Carmela, and his cherished children, Rosaria, Gioacchino, Giuseppe, along with his daughter-in-law’s Farris and Justina. His legacy continues through his adored grandchildren, Giovanni, Dominic, Mia, and Harper, and his siblings Enza, Anna, Rosetta, Orazio, and Caterina. He is predeceased by his parents, Rosaria Croce and Gioacchino Del Cuore.

In 1989, Domenico embarked on a journey, bringing his family from Sicily to California in pursuit of a better life and opportunities for his children. For over three decades, he graced the community as the friendly face and owner of Pizza Italia in Fremont. He was always a hard and passionate worker and provided for his family.

Domenico's passion for sports, especially as a devoted Jets fan, was only surpassed by his love for family. He reveled in the joy of being a loving husband, an exceptional father, an amazing Nonno, and a friend to many in the community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

All who wish to pay their respects are warmly welcomed.

Domenico is one of the most genuine, kind hearted, loving people I have met. From the day we met (I was 5 years old). he and Carmela always treated my family as their own. He so generously honored us with food and cannoli's for my wedding, which is an act I will always remember. Our family nights, important celebrations or just meals out, always meant going to Pizza Italia, because we knew being around the presence of Domenico and Carmela would make it more special. He also always overrode my decisions to give my daughter cookies when she asked. When she was younger, she truly believed they were her family, because of the love always shown. We are going to miss Domenico, so very much.
