It is with great sadness that the family of Dennis Michael Blakeslee announce his sudden passing on Thursday, September 14th, 2023 at the age of 62.

Known to many as a Master Craftsman & Carpenter, when Dennis wasn't working hard on his craft, he loved to spend his days cruisin' the open road on his Harley Davidson and playing golf, pool and poker with his friends and family. Born in Oakland, raised in Irvington, Fremont, CA, Dennis was an avid player in Baseball, Soccer, Football and Bowling during his high school years. He poured his heart into his work but also kept up with hobbies and made time to be the best Papa to his grandsons Noah and Sylas.

Dennis was a selfless man with a big heart, sharp humor and a contagious laugh. A committed father and grandfather, a devoted son, a caring brother, uncle and a loyal friend. If you had the chance to share the space with Dennis, you know it was always warm, welcoming and filled with laughter. The man sought to brighten every heart he came across.

Dennis is survived by his 3 children: Adrienne, Renee, Megan; 5 grandchildren: Dominik, Alexis, Kiana, Noah, Sylas; and 3 siblings: Kay, Randy and Rick.

Visitation will be held from 10-11am with a Chapel Service to begin at 11am on Thursday, September 28th at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd. in Fremont.

The world lost a cool, compassionate, amazing human being. He will be missed tremendously, and live on through the memories and laughter of his cherished family and friends.
