It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Perez on September 24, 2022 at the age of 43.

David was born on December 7, 1978 to parents Jose and Juana Perez. David graduated from Newark Memorial High School in 1996 and went on to receive an Associate of Occupational Studies Degree from UTI in 1999.

In 2012, David married his wife, Ashley, who survives him. He is also survived by their three daughters, Isabelle, Sofia, and Olivia; his parents; six siblings, Maria, Marta, Raul, Alicia, Elia, and Javier; and numerous family and friends. David was preceded in passing by his brother, Juan.

David was a loving and dedicated husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was known as a hardworking, caring, and selfless man who would always find a way to help others. He had a passion for baseball, but enjoyed all sports while cheering on the Chicago White Sox, Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 5-8pm with a Vigil Service to begin at 6:30pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, 94536. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 10:30am at St. Edwards Catholic Church, 5788 Thornton Ave., Newark, 94560.
