Entered into rest on July 21, 2012 in Fremont at the age of 50. Devoted husband of 26 years to Patricia Lopez of Fremont. Loving father to Anthony Lopez of Fremont, and Monique Contreras of Fremont. Beloved son of Richard Contreras and his wife Angie of Delhi, and Hope McDade and her husband Jack of Leggett, TX. Cherished brother of Richard Contreras of Seattle, WA, David Contreras of Mesa, AZ, and Josephine Duran of Los Angeles.

Born February 19, 1962 in Fresno, Daniel was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. A man of God who brought joy, peace, and life to all of his family. Never judging, he only saw the goodness in everyone. He was the solid rock to his wife, daughter, and son; and the lasting smile to all of his family.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 30, 11am-12pm followed by a chapel service at 12pm, all at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536.

There are no words that I can say to take the pain away. Uncle Danny was the most positive Man I knew. He never had anything negative to say about anyone. He will be missed by so many that loved him very much. May he Rest in Peace. We love and miss you Uncle Danny. I will not say Goodbye, but, I will say "See you later".
