Obituary For Cynthia Anne Gonzalez
Cynthia Anne Gonzalez, born Cynthia Martinez on July 5th, 1985, at Kaiser hospital Hayward to mother Rita Clark. Cynde passed away on April 1st, 2024, at Kaiser Vallejo after suffering from a severe asthma attack.
Cynde was raised in Fremont CA and was a current resident of Crockett CA. She was a former resident of Hayward, South San Francisco, and Fairfield. Cynde attended Treeview Elementary, Harvey Green Elementary, Horner Jr High, and graduated from Irvington High School in 2003. She attended Ohlone College and Mission ROP studying Early childhood studies. Cynthia graduated from Chabot college in Hayward CA receiving an associate degree in accounting in 2011.
Cynde’s past careers included working for McDonalds, Great America, NBA Serra Center, H&R Block, before starting her own business Damsel Bay Area. She also worked temporarily for Walmart in Fremont where she met her boyfriend David, and they started a long 18-year friendship which blossomed in the last few years into a loving relationship.
Cynde had many trials and tribulations in her short life including having to have brain surgery for cerebrospinal at the young age of 15, fibromyalgia, and most recently fighting and beating thyroid cancer. She faced every one of them head on, never letting them overcome her.
Cynde had many passions she loved including horror films, crafting, supporting her favorite teams the Raiders and A’s, amusement parks, Stitch, TMNT, but her greatest passion was her children. Her children were her greatest love and she was a wonderful mother to them. Whether it was her boys, her bonus kids, or her godchildren, she always wanted what was best for them and worked hard to make sure they were happy, healthy, and loved.
Cynde is survived by her boyfriend David, sons Azariah and Christian; sister Emily (who she helped raise); stepdaughter Isabell, mother Rita, sisters Jackie, Christi, Mary, and Jessica; Brothers James, Michael, Nick M., Nick B. and more; Grandpa Nick, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Cynde is proceeded in death by her stepfather Edwin Clark who raised her, Grandmothers June and Sarah, Grandfather Ernest, Uncle Eddie, her great-grandparents, her friend/brother Noel, and many more.
There will be an open service for those that knew her to come and pay their respects.
The family asks that you be respectful during this difficult time and help make her services one of love and peace for her young children.
