My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to my cousin Yolanda, my goddaughter Marina, my niece Valencia and nephew Tommy. You created so many beautiful memories that will last you a life time - those beautiful memories will help carry you through so many difficult moments - he was a true human being who loved you all so very much - continue living the life he set forth with dignity and courage and when those waves of sadness hit, it's OK - feel those moments as they hit you - be present in everything you feel - you will all grieve in your own way and in your own time. Your husband/dad was a great story teller - we were fortunate to have been able to meet up with him for dinner earlier this year even though he wasn't feeling all that great - he still showed up <3 God Bless him as he continues to journey Home <3 With all our love to all of you <3 Gary & Guillermina (aka Puppet as your Dad would call me) <3

My heart is very heavy today. God needed another guardian angel in Heaven. I told my dad this in the moments before he peacefully passed. I like to think it gave him comfort to know he was needed in Heaven to continue protecting others. That was his nature, to go where work needed to be done and do his duty. I've been listening to the old school songs my dad used to play loudly while looking at the many photos of our family. How far we have come. It's hard not to miss dad already. He left behind a lifetime of memories for me that I will never forget. Love you dad. It's not a goodbye but a see you later. Thank you for everything you gave and did. You will never be forgotten. My deepest sympathies to all the Families, Friends & Classmates of Curt. We were very good friends. He was funny, "the Fonz", we did Drama together in high school & both loved the 'Doobie Brothers'. He was a GOOD guy! I just spoke with him last year about his retirement from the Sheriff's Office & how happy he was. Taken too young. I'll miss him greatly.:innocent:

Curt it was a great pleasure to know you, we had some great times playing basketball at Kennedy Park in Union City, you, me Gonzalo, Trino and Joel. It's sad and depressing that good people like you are taken from us when we have idiots and pendejos running around still doing crazy things. I will forever be grateful for your friendship and courage, I'm having a beer in your memory. My prayers to Yolanda and your family. Ricardo Patino.
